転入学(転校)とは、現在高校に在籍している生徒が、別の高校に転校（転入）することをいいます。
(一般的な転校のイメージです)
前籍校で取得済の単位や出席日数によっては、2・3年次から転入することができる場合もありますので、
同年代と同じタイミングで高校卒業も可能です。
編入学とは
編入学は、高校を中退している生徒が、別の高校に再進学（編入）することをいいます。
前籍校の課程によっては、取得済単位を振り替えることも可能です。
編入の際には入試として、面接・筆記試験・作文などを行うことが一般的ですが、
一旦高校を退学しているため、現在の学力や状況を確認することが目的の学校がほとんどです。
