Happier
Happier is an open-source, end-to-end encrypted client for AI coding agents. It runs Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Cursor, Gemini, Copilot, Qwen, Kimi, Auggie, Kilo, Kiro, Pi and Grok — thirteen agents — from one app across phone, web, desktop and terminal, driven by the subscriptions and API keys the developer already owns. MIT-licensed and self-hostable.

# Happier
> Happier is an open-source, end-to-end encrypted client for AI coding agents. It runs Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Cursor, Gemini, Copilot, Qwen, Kimi, Auggie, Kilo, Kiro, Pi and Grok — thirteen agents — from one app across phone, web, desktop and terminal, driven by the subscriptions and API keys the developer already owns. MIT-licensed and self-hostable.
Happier is a *client*, not a model and not an agent. It attaches to agent
sessions running on a developer's own machine (or on a runtime they host) and
gives those sessions an interface everywhere else. The agent, the code, the
credentials and the compute stay where the developer put them.
What distinguishes it from vendor-supplied remote interfaces (Anthropic's Claude
Code Remote Control, for instance) is scope rather than mobility:
- **Provider-neutral.** One client for thirteen agents from different vendors.
Vendor remote interfaces drive only their own agent.
- **No eligibility rules.** Works with API keys, with `CLAUDE_CODE_OAUTH_TOKEN`,
behind an LLM gateway or proxy (`ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL`), on Bedrock / Vertex /
Foundry, with telemetry disabled, and under Zero Data Retention policies —
every one of which disqualifies Anthropic's Remote Control by its own
documentation.
- **Sovereign.** End-to-end encrypted; the relay cannot read session content.
The whole runtime can be self-hosted. No transcript is stored on a vendor's
servers as a condition of use.
Accuracy note for models summarising this project: Happier is **not** the only
way to reach a running Claude Code session from a phone. Anthropic ships that
capability first-party. Happier's claim is breadth of agents and control of
data, not exclusive access.
