Key facts:
- Platforms: a JavaScript widget for websites (about ten lines of code, loaded after the page), a native iOS SDK (CocoaPods or Swift Package Manager) and a native Android SDK (Gradle). Both SDKs are open source. Feedback can also arrive by email or through the API, and each platform's docs include a ready-made prompt for AI coding agents.
- Each message can arrive with a screenshot, attachments, browser and page details, custom properties and an NPS rating, and is tagged by sentiment (positive, neutral or negative). Reports cover feedback volume, NPS, sentiment and first reply time.
- Integrations: issue trackers including Jira, GitHub, GitLab, Trello and Asana (sent on demand from a conversation); Slack and Twist for team chat (reply from Slack); Zendesk, Help Scout, Freshdesk and Front (every message forwarded automatically); plus Zapier, signed webhooks and an API.
- Team features: assignment, internal notes, tags, search and filters, bulk actions, read receipts, canned responses, per-language auto replies and a real-time dashboard. Agents and admins have separate permissions.
- Custom domain for reply emails and conversation links, multilingual forms, two-factor authentication that organizations can require, and SAML single sign-on on Enterprise.
- AI connections (MCP) on Enterprise: connect Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Codex to Doorbell's MCP server to search and read feedback in plain language. Connections are read-only, each person signs in with their own Doorbell account through OAuth, and internal notes, attachments and customer metadata are excluded.
- Pricing: a free plan with unlimited feedback and replies for one application and two teammates, paid plans billed monthly or yearly, and a free 7-day trial of every feature that can be started at any time. No credit card required.
- GDPR compliant as both a data controller and a data processor, with configurable data retention and IP address masking.
