  API authentication supports four methods: static API token, client ID + client secret token exchange, OAuth 2 with PKCE, and OAuth 2 with PKCE Public. MCP server authentication supports OAuth 2 with PKCE and OAuth 2 with PKCE Public. All API keys and credentials are created at the company level in CxPlanner settings. Static API tokens and client credential tokens require the API user to be granted explicit project access by an administrator. OAuth methods authenticate on behalf of the authorizing user, inheriting that user's project access and permissions.
