# Copernicus Browser
> The Copernicus Browser makes it possible to browse and download full resolution images from all Copernicus missions.
Select your area of interest, time range and collection(s), and inspect the resulting data. Try out different visualisations, download high resolution images, create timelapses directly in the Browser, or download the raw data for local processing.
## How to build a Browser link
To give a user a link that opens the Browser on a specific place, dataset and date:
1. Find the `datasetId` (and a `layerId`) in [datasets.txt](https://browser.dataspace.copernicus.eu/datasets.txt). Never invent an id: they cannot be guessed, an unknown `datasetId` silently opens Sentinel-2 L2A instead, and some plausible-looking ids (such as `S1_AWS_IW_VVVH`) do not exist. Some datasets, such as the Sentinel-2 quarterly mosaics, are identified by a UUID.
2. Give `lat`, `lng` and `zoom` for the place. Zoom 10-13 suits most requests.
3. Give the date. For "the latest" or "most recent" image, add `date=latest` instead of guessing a date. For a specific day, use `fromTime` and `toTime` (ISO-8601, UTC) with `dateMode=SINGLE`. Details and the other parameters are in [deep-linking.txt](https://browser.dataspace.copernicus.eu/deep-linking.txt).
4. Leave out `visualizationUrl`.
Example, the newest Sentinel-2 L2A true colour image of Lake Garda:
https://browser.dataspace.copernicus.eu/?zoom=11&lat=45.65&lng=10.7&datasetId=S2_L2A_CDAS&layerId=1_TRUE_COLOR&date=latest
