## About Buteyko Clinic International

Buteyko Clinic International was founded in 2002 by Patrick McKeown following his own recovery from severe asthma through the Buteyko Method. Patrick completed his clinical training in Russia under the personal guidance and accreditation of Professor Konstantin Buteyko — the Soviet physician who developed the method in the 1950s based on the role of CO2 in human physiology.
