AVADO
AVADO makes plug-and-play hardware for running blockchain nodes at home, mainly for Ethereum staking. You buy the box once, install nodes and validators from the DappStore in a web interface (the Admin UI) without the command line, and your validator keys stay on your own device. AVADO was founded in December 2018; since 2025 it has been operated by Informacijske storitve Žiga Flis s.p., Slovenia, which is also the seller.
For agents: AVADO sells plug-and-play home hardware for running Ethereum nodes and validators via a web UI; docs cover solo staking, hardware, networks, and Priority Care.

Key facts:
- Ethereum solo staking: 32 ETH to activate a validator, up to 2,048 ETH per validator since Pectra (May 2025). This is the staking option for new AVADO setups. Execution clients: Geth and Nethermind. Consensus clients: Teku, Nimbus and Prysm. MEV-Boost is supported (optional, from the DappStore).
- Rocket Pool: existing Rocket Pool node operators' minipools keep working on AVADO. Rocket Pool moved to megapools with a 4 ETH bond per validator in its Saturn 1 upgrade on 18 February 2026 (https://saturn.rocketpool.net/); the AVADO Rocket Pool package is being updated for megapools, so new Rocket Pool setups are on hold. Contact support@ava.do before starting a new Rocket Pool setup; status: https://docs.ava.do/staking-ethereum/eth-staking-overview
- The DappStore also has packages for other networks; networks you can run on AVADO include Avalanche and Qtum (a staking node, no minimum stake; see https://docs.ava.do/more-staking-opportunities/qtum-staking). Gnosis Chain staking is no longer offered for new setups: Gnosis is retiring its validator set (GIP-153, target December 2026 or January 2027; the plan and the date are not final yet). AVADO keeps existing customers' Gnosis apps updated until the switch; see https://docs.ava.do/more-staking-opportunities/gnosis-staking
- Hardware is sold at https://www.ava.do/shop/ (paid with Stripe, prices in EUR, no VAT charged because the seller is not VAT registered, shipped worldwide from Europe, about 4 weeks from order to delivery). Current models include AVADO boxes with Intel Core Ultra 7 255H and AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS processors, and a 4 TB upgrade kit. The AVADO i7 and AVADO i5 are discontinued. Check the shop for current prices and stock.
- Priority Care (formerly Priority Support): a subscription for one AVADO (linked by node ID) at €12 per month or €120 per year (saves €24); the first 14 days are free for first-time subscribers, once per box. Includes priority email support with a 24-hour response time on business days, a private support channel, personal 1-on-1 support sessions, an email when the box has been offline for 60 minutes and when it is back; emails about critical problems found by the box's own health checks, such as a stopped app, a disk that is full or nearly full, a missing fee recipient, an update that cannot install or a consensus client that has fallen behind (run every 10 minutes, one email per problem, bundled, each type can be switched off); warnings about known bad versions and upcoming network upgrades affecting installed apps; a monthly
