ZonGuru was founded in 2016 by Jon Tilley and Stefan Ratchev, both of whom sold private-label products on Amazon before building software for it. The company is headquartered in Boise, Idaho, with a distributed team. From 2016 to 2025 it built an Amazon seller toolkit and the market data underneath it; that data now powers Helix.
