We Are Affective is an independent app strategy and experience agency based in the UK. We work with founders, product teams, and established brands who need a clear, honest foundation for their app before development begins. We do not build. That independence is the point.

Our work covers user research, behavioural psychology, UX design, UI design, system architecture, and complete technical specifications. The output is a developer-ready package your chosen team can build from immediately, whether that is an agency, freelancers, an in-house team, or AI-assisted development tools.

The agency was founded by Simon Lee, who spent over twenty years leading mobile product work across healthcare, fintech, consumer technology, and luxury brands. Clients include Canon, Chanel, Universal Music, the Ministry of Defence, and Lucozade.

We work across the UK and internationally. Our sectors include healthcare, wellness, fintech, consumer technology, and any domain where the emotional relationship between a product and its user determines whether that product succeeds.
