Markup = advertised price − factory MSRP (negative = below sticker). Honda, Acura, and Hyundai are reported MSRP-only, with no markup figure published for them. Acura carries no dealer asking price anywhere in our data. For Honda and Hyundai the manufacturer feed carries no asking price either, so we collect one from the selling dealers' own websites, which gives us a price on part of their inventory and a growing share of it as we cover more dealers. That coverage is partial and uneven from dealer to dealer, so all three brands stay out of every cross-brand, cross-state, and cross-dealer markup average, median, and ranking rather than contributing a figure drawn from whichever dealers we have read so far. Data refreshes every morning.
