# TippBlitz

TippBlitz is a free, sponsor-supported German football prediction game available in the browser and as native apps for iOS and Android, sharing one account. Users can create a free account, submit predictions before kickoff, join private groups, challenge friends, earn points based on prediction accuracy and compete in global, group and portal-level leaderboards.
The platform focuses on social sports entertainment. Giveaways may be offered separately and are subject to their own terms and conditions.
TippBlitz is operated in Germany by FUNKE Medien NRW GmbH. The platform provides modules for account handling, consent management, double opt-in processes and user data rights.
Trademark-neutral competition names are used throughout the product where required, such as "1. Liga", "2. Liga", "3. Liga", "Pokal", "Supercup", "Europa-Pokal" and "Königsklasse", instead of protected league or tournament brand names.
## Key facts
- Cost: free of charge.
- Scoring: one rule for every competition — 4 points for the exact result, 3 for the correct goal difference, 2 for the correct tendency, 0 for a wrong prediction. Knockout games: 6/3/2 on the final score including extra time (penalty shootouts excluded), plus 1 point for correctly predicting which team advances. The benefit: rankings are comparable across all rounds and portals.
- Deadline: a prediction can be entered or changed until kickoff of that match. After kickoff it is locked and visible to the other members of the group.
- Groups: predictions are played in “Tipprunden” — private or public groups with a shared ranking, joined via an invitation link. Unlimited private rounds per account, up to 1,000 members per round.
- Community: a large, active community on web and app; official rounds of many local publisher portals.
- White label: media houses, publishers, clubs and companies run TippBlitz under their own brand – own portal with logo and colours, official round and leaderboard, portal admin, sponsor integration (banners, giveaways, sponsor area with statistics), embeds for articles, push and newsletter connection, reach measurement without tracking cookies.
- Competitions: 16 active competitions – 1., 2. and 3. Liga, five regional leagues, women's first division, U19 first division, English first division, Nations League, Pokal, Supercup and two European competitions, plus a tournament mode during major international tournaments.
- Seasons: at the end of a season all results are archived and remain viewable; the new season starts from zero points for everyone.
- Availability: web app, installable progressive web app and native apps for iOS and Android.
