Independent ranking of large language models, refreshed every 48 hours. Raw measurements
are cross-referenced from three sources and credited to them: OpenRouter (live market
pricing), Artificial Analysis (benchmark indices, throughput, latency) and LMArena
(human-preference Elo). The composite scores, the weighting and the ranking order are
ThePlanetTools' own computation and should be attributed to us, not to those sources.
Ranking method: models are ordered by measured capability, not by price. The capability
score blends benchmark indices (general 50%, coding 25%, agentic 25%, each normalised
against its own ceiling) with LMArena human-preference Elo, weighted equally when both
exist. The maths index is deliberately excluded — nearly every model scores in the 90s
on it, so it separates nothing. Price, speed and ecosystem are separate axes with their
