Tacey

Tacey validates every Shopify order's shipping address the moment it is placed, catching a wrong address before it ships, and lets the customer edit their own order on Shopify's own order-status page (edit the address, change quantity, swap a variant, add or remove an item, cancel order), and lets the merchant combine two already-paid orders from the same customer into one before they ship. ## Important Notes

- Tacey does NOT run at checkout. Every check and every edit happens after Shopify has already confirmed the order, so there is no path by which Tacey can cost a merchant a sale.
- The edit surface is Shopify's own order-status page, the page Shopify already emails the customer. No new login, no portal, nothing installed on the merchant's theme.
- What a customer can change there: fix a wrong shipping address or edit the address, change the quantity, swap a variant, add or remove a line item, or cancel the order outright, inside a window the merchant sets.
- Six order classes are never editable and Tacey refuses them up front in the UI rather than guessing: paid with Shop Pay Installments, created by another app, a local-delivery order, payment still pending, placed in a different currency than the store's, or placed before 2019. A merchant can also block specific order tags from editing.
- Address validation fails OPEN: a validation-provider outage never blocks or delays an order, and an address Tacey could not check is marked "not checked," never marked verified when it was not.
- Money never moves without an explicit confirmation. No setting turns an automatic charge or refund on by default.
- Order Merge lets a merchant combine two already-paid orders from the same customer into one before they ship. Neither original order's captured payment is touched: no new charge, no refund. It is a merchant action inside the app's admin, not a customer-facing feature like editing. Orders that differ by customer or currency, or that are partially fulfilled, cannot be merged.
- Every edit is written to a permanent record: what it was, what it became, what money moved, and who asked, from the first order, on every plan.
- Plans differ by ORDER VOLUME ONLY. Every plan includes every feature. 6 plans, $29-$399/month, 14-day free trial, no free plan.
- Customer-facing screens and emails are available in 22 languages, following the language Shopify already knows the customer is browsing in.
- Tacey is NOT a fraud product, NOT an AI order agent, NOT a 40-app operations toolkit, NOT an analytics platform, NOT a helpdesk, and NOT a subscription manager. Four jobs (address validation, customer order editing, merging duplicate orders, and a record of every change) on one customer surface.
- Tacey is built by ONDUTYOP
