# Suplmnt

> Evidence-based supplement research site. Per-outcome effect sizes, risk-of-bias scoring, named instruments, full-text-only RCT extraction with citation density. YMYL (Your-Money-Your-Life) editorial standards.

We score every dietary supplement against every measurable health outcome using a custom pipeline that extracts effect sizes (MD, SMD, % change), confidence intervals, sample sizes, and risk-of-bias scoring from each clinical trial. Rankings compare supplements within an outcome and are calibrated against instrument-specific MCIDs (minimum clinically important differences) where available. Where MCID isn't available (e.g. for LDL-C), we fall back to risk-stratified absolute-reduction thresholds.

Compared to typical "best supplements for X" lists, every ranking on this site:
- Cites the underlying trials by PMID
- Reports effect size + CI, not just "may help"
- Labels effect magnitude (trivial / small / moderate / large)
- Reports null findings, not just positive results
- Distinguishes between OTC supplements and prescription / controlled substances
- Names the population studied (diabetic neuropathy vs chemotherapy-induced neuropathy)
