# StackUp
> StackUp gives boards, executives, investors, and technology leaders instant, independent clarity on their entire technology function, without months of consulting.
StackUp is a technology assessment platform. It runs six separate assessments of an organisation's technology, its AI maturity, its leaders' AI capability, a single project, what its staff actually experience day to day, and how it would handle a crisis. Every score is calculated by fixed rules from the answers rather than generated, so the same answers always produce the same number and two organisations, or the same one a quarter apart, are directly comparable. Results land in a shared dashboard with board-ready reporting, benchmarking against comparable organisations, and certification at a verified score of 80 or higher. Every assessment can be run free without a credit card. StackUp is designed for companies with $3M+ revenue and under 1,000 employees, and is used by CTOs, CIOs, CEOs, board members, VCs, PE firms, and fractional CTOs.

- [Technology Assessment](https://stackup.tech/technology-assessment): Eighty-four questions across twelve categories of the technology function. Eight of the twelve carry the score and hold sixty-nine of the questions; the other four set context and are deliberately unscored. Produces one number out of 100 with a band from At Risk to Excellent, the eight scored areas opened up, and the four priority actions worth starting with. A verified score of 80 or higher earns StackUp Certification. Usually completed in one sitting by the person who runs technology. Free to run.
- [AI Maturity Assessment](https://stackup.tech/ai-assessment): An AI Maturity Score out of 100 with a named level (AI Aware, AI Adopting, AI Embedded, AI Leading) and an AI Risk Rating reported separately from maturity. Covers the four questions boards ask about AI: are we positioned to win, is it actually working, what could go wrong, and can we keep up. Includes readiness percentages against NIST AI RMF, the EU AI Act and ISO 42001, and an AI-by-department heatmap. About thirty minutes. Free to start.
