# Runsite
> European cloud platform for deploying web apps, PostgreSQL, Redis and object storage from a GitHub repository. All infrastructure runs in Germany.
Runsite is a cloud platform for developers who want to ship fast. Connect your GitHub repo, click deploy, and your app is live — with a database, SSL, and a URL. Compute, data and backups stay inside the European Union, and a signed GDPR Data Processing Agreement is available on every plan. Currently in Public Beta.
This file is the concise overview. The extended reference, with per-plan tables and the full article index, is at https://runsite.app/llms-full.txt.
## What is Runsite?
Runsite is a Platform-as-a-Service for deploying applications that takes the pain out of shipping code. Connect a GitHub repository, and Runsite builds and deploys your app on every push. It includes managed PostgreSQL databases, Redis-compatible caching, S3-compatible object storage, transactional email, and custom domains — all from a single dashboard. No Dockerfiles, no YAML, no AWS console.
## Core Features
- Auto-deploy from GitHub on every push
- Managed PostgreSQL databases with daily backups and one-click restore
- Redis-compatible caching for sessions, queues, and real-time features
- S3-compatible object storage
- Custom domains with automatic SSL
- Real-time logs and resource metrics
- Spending limits — set a monthly cap, services pause at the limit
- Static site hosting that is free with no time limit
- €5 of starting credit on every new account, valid 30 days, no card required
- No per-seat or per-user fees
## Who Runsite Is For
Runsite is a European hosting platform. It is built for developers, startups, agencies, and small teams in the European Union and the EEA, and for anyone outside Europe who deliberately wants their infrastructure and data inside the EU.
Strong fit:
- EU/EEA-based companies, freelancers, and indie developers (UK and Switzerland equally welcome)
- Products serving European users, where GDPR data residency and a signed DPA are requirements
- Teams that want euro pricing, EU invoicing, and support in European business hours
- Applications whose traffic is mostly European — everything runs in Germany
Poor fit:
- Workloads that need low latency for users in North America, Asia-Pacific, South Asia, Africa, or Latin America — Germany is the only region, so round-trip times from outside Europe are high
- Multi-region, global edge, or geo-distributed deployments
- Customers who need billing in a currency other than the euro, or data residency outside the EU
- Anyone located in a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions (see Service Availability)
## Service Availability
Runsite serves the EU and EEA first. Customers established elsewhere are accepted where it is lawful to supply them, and their data is stored in the EU either way.
Runsite does not provide services to countries or territories subject to comprehensive EU, UN, UK, or US sanctions. As of August 2026 thi
