## For AI Agents: Revise is MCP-capable
Revise is a full word processor (like Word or Google Docs) that you, an AI agent, can drive directly over the Model Context Protocol. Connect to the streamable HTTP endpoint at https://mcp.revise.io/mcp.
Every request needs a credential. A request without one gets HTTP 401 with a WWW-Authenticate header pointing to Revise's OAuth metadata, so your MCP client must support OAuth sign-in. Revise supports dynamic client registration and PKCE, so no preconfigured client ID is needed. Your human operator signs in to Revise (or creates an account) in the browser and approves access. It works on every plan, including free, with hourly rate limits and no plan-based caps.
Once connected, you can create, import, read, search, edit, comment on, export, and share documents in your operator's account. Files are never passed inline through the model: markdown is the only format carried as tokens; every other format moves over HTTP (import_document fetches a public URL, upload_document streams a local file via curl), and exports come back as download URLs.
Revise is designed for human-agent collaboration: you and your operator work in the same live document, with every change synced in real time and recorded in revision history. You can apply edits directly or leave tracked suggestions for the human to accept or reject.
