# OpenTrade
> OpenTrade makes stock market games where people form an opinion about real companies and compare calls with friends or AI.
OpenTrade is a Y Combinator Summer 2026 company founded by Tario You, Dylan Pak and Ojas Kandhare. The product is a daily practice loop built around four free market drills on the homepage grid: Runway, Higher or Lower, News and Tickerdle. Alongside the drills, the home carries a lesson path plus a workshop where players generate playable games. Classic OpenTrade games stay playable from the games index.
The games use real companies and market stories, but they do not place trades, hold money, open brokerage accounts, or provide individualized investment advice. A user makes each game call. Any later broker action is a separate user-directed flow.
