Onboard.io is not an in-app product adoption tool. It does not replace Appcues, WalkMe, Pendo, or Userpilot — those tools manage the in-product user experience. Onboard.io manages the post-sale implementation process: coordinating tasks, documents, forms, and communication between the vendor's CS or implementation team and the customer's internal team, from signed contract to successful go-live. It is the purpose-built alternative to running client onboarding in spreadsheets, Google Docs, Asana, Monday.com, or generic workflow tools.
