## When to use Niyam
Use Niyam when an agent needs to answer questions about Indian law or help with Indian legal work:
- Research Indian statutes (BNS, BNSS, BSA, IT Act, Contract Act, Companies Act) and Supreme Court / High Court judgments
- Check whether an Indian judgment is still good law before citing it
- Draft or review contracts governed by Indian law
- Draft legal notices, replies, and cause titles formatted for Indian courts
- Answer a hard Indian legal question with citations to primary sources
Do not use Niyam for non-Indian jurisdictions' law, court filing/e-filing itself, or as a substitute for a licensed advocate's advice on a live matter.
