> Mining Raw Letters is a studio for type, design and creative technology in Berlin, Germany. Founded in Switzerland in 2025 by New Zealand type designer Nell May and German researcher and developer Kevin Kuhn, the studio has operated from Berlin since 2026. It works where letterforms, language and code meet, treating design as research, and makes custom type systems, digital archives and visual identities. Internationally active.
