# Mindmaply

> Mindmaply turns a Markdown outline or a Mermaid flowchart into a polished SVG mind map, org chart, or process diagram. The same text always produces the same diagram, so an agent can write a mind map the way it writes code: no canvas to drag, no layout to decide. Free and open source, MIT licensed.

Three ways to use it from an agent, richest first:

- Install the Agent Skill: `npx skills add productscalexyz/mindmaply`. Works in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot, and Gemini. Teaches the grammar, the quality bar, and the render/validate/share workflow.
- Call the CLI: `npx -y mindmaply-core render map.md -o map.svg`. Commands are render, validate, share, convert. Rendering and validation run fully offline.
- Call the HTTP API: `POST https://api.mindmaply.app/render` with `{"source": "..."}`. Returns the SVG, a parsed `model` graph of nodes and edges, and every share, embed, and image URL.
