# Mayan
> Mayan is a cross-chain swap protocol. It moves any asset to any chain in a single transaction, powering the wallets and apps millions of people use. Over $20B has moved through Mayan, across 10M+ swaps and 3M+ users.
Mayan takes an outcome and makes it happen: a swap, a stablecoin payment, a funded account, a withdrawal, or an onchain position that is live the moment funds arrive. There is no separate bridging step. Most swaps settle in as little as 2 seconds, because drivers pay the user from capital they already hold on the destination chain instead of waiting for the source chain to finalize. Mayan is non-custodial: it runs on permissionless smart contracts audited by OtterSec and Sec3, no party can freeze or move user assets, and an order that is not filled before its deadline is refunded to the sender.
Supported chains include Solana, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, BNB Smart Chain, Monad, Sui and HyperEVM, with support for any token that has a contract address and no preset whitelist.
## What Mayan does
- Swap: trade any asset to any asset at the best price, across chains, in one transaction.
- Bridge: move an asset across chains securely in one click.
- Pay: send stablecoins with a guaranteed output; pay from any asset and settle in stablecoins on any chain.
- Deposit: fund any account from any asset, automatically. Includes deposits to Hyperliquid from any supported chain.
- Withdraw: exit to any chain in any asset, instantly.
- Orchestrate: attach any onchain action to a single swap and execute the whole flow in one transaction.
## How it works
- Swift: Mayan's intent-based transfer method. Settles in as little as 2 seconds from driver capital on the destination chain and covers most swaps up to around $1M.
- MCTP and Fast MCTP: use Circle's CCTP for native USDC and settle in as little as 5 seconds, for high-value and stablecoin transfers up to around $10M.
- Wormhole Swap: settles in under a minute, for low-slippage transfers of high-value SOL and ETH.
- Guaranteed Price: on eligible same-asset routes such as USDC to USDC, the amount quoted is the amount received.
- Gasless execution: on eligible routes a user can start a cross-chain move without holding the source chain's native token.
## Who builds on Mayan
- Wallets: add cross-chain swaps inside the wallet and earn a fee on every swap. MetaMask, Phantom, OKX Wallet and Gem Wallet run Mayan.
- Applications: one integration gives an app any chain and any asset. LI.FI, OKX, Bungee and SwapKit route through Mayan.
- Chains: launch connected and reachable from every major ecosystem on day one, as Monad did. Over $6B has landed on Solana through Mayan.
- Merchants and platforms: accept and deliver any asset, with built-in conversion for payments and deposits. MoonPay and PrimeVault use Mayan.
Integrators get an SDK, an API and a drop-in widget with flexible fee options, and can collect fees on every cross-chain transaction their users make, settled in their preferred token on
