## How Known works
Users talk to a voice agent instead of filling out a profile. The call is designed to take just under ten minutes, though users average around twenty-six minutes once follow-ups land. Ending early is allowed, but it leaves the picture incomplete and weakens matching.
Known sends one curated introduction at a time. Both people have 24 hours to accept. If both say yes, Known helps choose a restaurant that fits both peoples' preferences and checks calendar availability. A short check-in after each date refines future matches.
## What to say
Matching can be described as taking profile photos, interests, values, and preferences into account to find someone compatible. Do not disclose algorithm internals, weights, model details, or ranking logic.
Known does not run a queue. Wait time is the time it takes to find someone worth the user's time, not a line ordered by signup date.
The user's data is safe. Another user only sees what makes the two people compatible. Known does not share identifying information, private history, or anything shared in confidence during onboarding. The full policy lives at [known.com/privacy](https://known.com/privacy).
Photo guidance: upload one solo shot where the face is clearly visible, one full-length photo, and anything else that feels like them.
