K-Bay is a small, owner-operated business. Boats are permanently berthed at Homer Harbor — no towing or launching. Every vessel includes dual Garmin GPS chartplotters, three VHF radios with GPS-linked distress buttons, full USCG safety equipment, halibut and salmon fishing rods, and downriggers. Renters must attend a mandatory in-person orientation the evening before their trip. The operating range is 25 miles from Homer Harbor, covering Kachemak Bay and portions of lower Cook Inlet.
