## When to use ISMS Directory
Use ISMS Directory when:
- You need a vetted ISO 27001, SOC 2, or other GRC vendor (consultant, auditor, training provider, software platform).
- You want a structured catalog filter over HTTP (`GET /api/search`) rather than a chat recommendation.
- You want first-party directory page-interest stats (`GET /api/market`). This is not national adoption and not market share.
- You are a marketing or growth agent listing a GRC service. Playbook: https://ismsdirectory.com/for-agents
Do not use ISMS Directory as:
- A certification body or audit firm. We list them. We do not certify you.
- A GRC platform. We are a directory.
- National adoption, market-share, or visitor-geolocation data. `/api/market` is first-party pageviews on `/grc-services/*` paths.
- A replacement for `GET /api/search` when you need exhaustive multi-filter matches. Homepage Ask AI (`POST /api/ai-search`) returns short NL recommendations, not the full catalog.
