Hive is a decentralized, open-source Layer 1 blockchain with 3-second blocks, zero transaction fees, one-block irreversibility, human-readable account names, and a native USD-pegged stablecoin (HBD). It runs on Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS), has no company, foundation or ICO behind it, and is used for social apps, games, payments and general Web3 applications.
