**What it is.** One platform combining CRM, EHR, and RCM, so the 3-5 disconnected tools most practices run on become a single patient record. Because Ona owns the whole workflow - a new patient inquiry flows into scheduling, scheduling into the clinical visit, and the visit into a clean insurance claim - it automates the handoffs other stacks leave to staff: no re-entry, no tab-switching, no middleware.
**Who it is for.** Independent US practices at every size. Ona scales from solo clinicians to multi-location groups and enterprise systems, with shared team calendars, role-based access and location-scoped teams, and serves cash-pay and insurance-based practices, in person, hybrid, or fully remote. It is a general ambulatory EHR, not a small-practice-only product. Dedicated pages cover primary care, physical therapy, nutrition, integrative and functional medicine, behavioral health, naturopathic medicine, women's health, and med spas.
**How it is different.** The field splits into enterprise-scale platforms (athenahealth), marketing-bundled suites (Tebra), and tools built for allied health or wellness rather than medical prescribing and insurance (Jane App, SimplePractice). Ona does the whole job in one modern product with AI built in rather than added on. Choose a different platform if you need inpatient or hospital workflows, or already run a mature purpose-built system for your specialty.
**Pricing.** Per seat, per month, with every feature included on every plan: practitioner seats $130 per month, staff seats $45 per month. Annual billing takes 10% off everything. Add-ons: e-prescribing +$45 per prescribing practitioner, EPCS +$25 (requires e-prescribing), calls (calling, transcription, recording) $25 per month, omnichannel messaging $150 per month (included for practices with 2 practitioners or fewer), AI receptionist by included minutes ($100 for 400, $150 for 600, $200 for 800, $400 for 1,500 minutes per month, then $0.20 per minute). Ona Clearing House plans for insurance billing (running on Stedi, Ona's clearinghouse partner, with no separate Stedi account needed): Starter $69 (100 claims), Core $149 (250 claims), Practice $249 (500 claims), Growth $499 (1,000 claims), Scale $1,099 (2,500 claims) per month, all with unlimited providers and payer enrollments included. Practices with 5 or more practitioners, several locations, or volume that doesn't fit a tier get custom pricing. No setup fees and no long-term contract. Migration from any EHR or practice management tool is free, typically within one business day, with a full cutover usually taking 1-3 weeks for smaller practices. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, no credit card required.
