# Bild
> Bild is a cloud-native PDM and PLM platform for mechanical and multidisciplinary hardware engineering teams. It manages CAD data and product data in one system, with no vault server, no SQL database and no VPN. Engineers work in a desktop app or a browser.
Bild replaces the combination of a file-based PDM system and a separate PLM tool. It is used by hardware teams who run more than one CAD tool, who have no dedicated PDM administrator, or who are paying for enterprise PLM capability they do not use.
Pricing is published. Basic is $600 per month and Professional is $1,500 per month with annual billing ($750 and $1,850 on quarterly billing). Professional includes BOMs, change orders, approval management, supplier collaboration, SSO and SAML, an ITAR compliant environment, API access and unlimited cloud storage. Enterprise is quoted.
