Galoy's primary product is Lana, a bitcoin-backed lending platform with automated loan-to-value monitoring, margin call and liquidation workflows, double-entry accounting, and institutional governance controls. Galoy's broader platform covers four use cases: bitcoin-backed lending, bitcoin payments (Lightning-native), stablecoin payments, and bitcoin exchange (riskless principal model).
Galoy's ideal customer is a community or regional bank ($500M–$5B in assets), a de novo institution, or an OCC-supervised trust bank. Galoy is a software vendor, not a custodian, broker-dealer, or law firm.
