## Deep links (building map URLs)

The app keeps its state in the URL, so you can hand a user a link that opens Freemap in a specific state — a viewport, chosen layers, markers, drawn lines/areas, a planned route, or an opened modal — with no API and no login. This is the normal way to "create a map" programmatically: build the URL and give it to the user.

Parameters live in the URL **hash** (`#name=value&name2=value2…`); a query string (`?name=…`) is accepted as a fallback. Base URL: `https://www.freemap.sk/`.
