# FacileThings
> FacileThings is a personal productivity web application that provides the structure and workflow to get things done. It fully implements the Getting Things Done (GTD) methodology created by David Allen, guiding users through the five stages of the GTD workflow: Capture, Clarify, Organize, Reflect, and Engage. FacileThings helps people organize effectively and live less stressed, so they can focus on the important things and enjoy their lives more.
FacileThings is developed by Francisco Sáez, a software engineer passionate about personal productivity and the GTD philosophy. The company was created in the United Kingdom and is now established in Spain. FacileThings is available in English and Spanish.

## Core Concepts
FacileThings is built entirely around the GTD methodology. The GTD workflow is fully embedded in the system — users don't need to figure out how to adapt a generic tool to GTD. Instead, FacileThings enforces the methodology as David Allen designed it, which helps users build the right habits over time.
### The 5-Step GTD Workflow
- **Capture**: Collect anything that grabs your attention into your inbox — ideas, tasks, commitments, notes — to get them out of your head.
- **Clarify**: Process each captured item to determine what it is, whether it requires action, and what the next step should be. Clarifying is not doing.
- **Organize**: Place clarified items into the appropriate lists — Next Actions, Calendar, Waiting For, Projects, Someday/Maybe, or Reference Material — with the right contexts (#home, #office, #computer, #calls, etc.).
- **Reflect**: Regularly review your system (especially through the Weekly Review) to keep it current, complete, and trustworthy.
- **Engage**: Choose what to do next based on your context, time available, energy level, and priorities.
### Horizons of Focus
FacileThings supports GTD's Six-Level Model for Reviewing Your Own Work (Horizons of Focus), which helps users align daily actions with higher-level life goals: Purpose & Principles, Vision, Goals, Areas of Responsibility, Projects, and Ground-level Actions.
