Der Workshop verbindet aktuelle Entwicklungen rund um Looksmaxxing und Manosphere mit Erkenntnissen aus der Männlichkeits- und Radikalisierungsforschung sowie Erfahrungen aus der Jungen- und Männerarbeit. Die Teilnehmenden setzen sich dabei mit den Ursprüngen eigener Männlichkeitsvorstellungen auseinander und reflektieren, welche Rolle diese für die pädagogische Arbeit spielen. Im Mittelpunkt steht dabei ein häufig unterschätzter Faktor: Einsamkeit. Wie können Fachkräfte problematische Entwicklungen frühzeitig erkennen? Wie sprechen wir mit Jungen über Männlichkeit, ohne sie zu beschämen? Und wie können wir Alternativen zu den Zugehörigkeitsangeboten der Manosphere schaffen?

Im Mainzer Institut français lag gestern Abend Aufbruch in der Luft. Zahlreiche Gäste aus Politik, Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft folgten der Einladung der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Trans*- und Inter*geschlechtlichkeit e.V. (dgti). Gemeinsam stellten sie eine Pilotstudie vor, die eine jahrzehntelange Leerstelle schließt: „Verfolgung, Benachteiligung und Lebensrealitäten trans*, inter, nicht-binärer und agender Personen (tina*) im Nationalsozialismus (1933–1945) in Rheinland-Pfalz“. Damit wird erstmals die systematische Entrechtung dieser Menschen für ein ganzes Bundesland wissenschaftlich aufgearbeitet.
