# CloudOps Platform (cloud-ops.io)
> Multi-tenant Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform: turn bare metal into your own cloud. Provision servers, virtual machines, databases, storage, and networking from one control plane — via web console, API, or Terraform.
CloudOps enables Managed Service Providers and enterprises to run fully isolated tenant environments on shared infrastructure. Each tenant gets a dedicated, strictly isolated environment with automated provisioning and self-service resource management.
## Capabilities
- **Bare metal to cloud** — manage physical servers, KVM virtual machines (Linux or Windows, with a browser console), databases, storage, and networks under one control plane.
- **Multi-tenant isolation** — namespace-per-tenant with RBAC and network policies.
- **Managed databases (preview)** — PostgreSQL, MariaDB (MySQL-compatible), and Valkey (Redis-compatible) instances with provisioning and monitoring handled by the platform. Automated backups are not available yet.
- **Storage** — ZFS-backed block volumes with snapshots, plus S3-compatible object storage.
- **Networking** — private networks, security groups, an encrypted overlay network, and site-to-site VPN.
- **Bare-metal provisioning** — PXE network-boot and image physical servers straight from the platform.
- **Automated provisioning** — CI/CD-driven tenant deployment; auditable, Ansible-driven infrastructure automation.
- **Bare-metal marketplace (early access)** — rent verified servers by the day from independent providers, or list idle hardware. Provider payouts through Stripe Connect are not open yet, so listings are few or none for now.
- **Works how teams work** — web console, REST API with scoped tokens, and an official Terraform provider (distributed as a download, not yet on the public Terraform Registry).
- **Security and governance built in** — tenant isolation, Google sign-in and role-based access control, an encrypted overlay network between your hosts and encrypted secrets, and a logged job for every provisioning action.
