## Audience and boundaries
- Intended for adults, 18 or over, as the terms of use require. Listings for adult products carry the RTA label that consumer filtering software reads.
- ClickTug lists software and publishes facts about it. It hosts no explicit images, no explicit video and no erotic writing, and its build rejects any image served from a host other than its own.
- The exclusions in the next section are enforced by the content schema and by a build-time gate. They are not editorial preferences and cannot be waived per listing.
- Ordering is editorial: a whole number assigned by hand in each listing file, with no code weighting it. There is no ClickTug score, no star rating and no numeric quality figure of any kind.
## Scope
ClickTug lists software in these categories, and only these:
- AI girlfriend: Companion apps built around one persistent character you return to.
- AI roleplay: Character and scenario tools where you author the cast, not the vendor.
- AI dating: Relationship simulators, and tools for dating actual people.
- AI friend: Companions framed as friendship rather than romance, and what they keep.
- Uncensored AI chat: Models and chat tools with fewer refusals, including local and open-weight options.
Image and video generators are not a listed category. Writing on the blog may discuss them, but ClickTug does not list them or publish facts about them as products.
## What this directory excludes and will never list
These are excluded as listings and as topics. The exclusion is enforced by the content schema and by a build-time gate, not by editorial habit.
