# Cake Wallet

Cake Wallet was founded in 2018 by Vikrant Sharma (founder and CEO of Cake Labs). It started as the first Monero wallet for iOS and was the first mobile app to support Litecoin's MWEB privacy network. Cake Wallet has more than 2 million users (2M+).

Fees: the app is free and Cake Wallet does not charge a fee to send or receive; you pay only the blockchain network fee. Third-party features (in-app swaps, buying and selling) include the provider's rate or fee in the quote shown before confirming.

Custody: non-custodial. Only the user holds the private keys and seed phrase; Cake cannot access, freeze, reverse or recover funds.

Supported cryptocurrencies and networks: Monero (XMR), Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Lightning, Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Tron (TRX), Polygon (POL), Arbitrum, Base, BNB Smart Chain (BNB), Zcash (ZEC), Zano (ZANO), Decred (DCR), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Nano (XNO), plus tokens and stablecoins such as USDT.
