# Busibee

> Busibee is a free Belgian business-information platform. It combines company registry data,
> annual accounts, legal publications, business activities, and PEPPOL registrations in Dutch,

## Use Busibee For

- Finding a Belgian enterprise by name, CBE/KBO number, or VAT number
- Checking legal identity, status, address, contacts, and NACEBEL activities
- Reviewing NBB annual accounts, financial figures, ratios, and source PDFs when available
- Finding Belgian Official Gazette publications and their classified subjects
- Checking PEPPOL e-invoicing registration and supported document types when available
- Browsing companies by activity or location
- Accessing public company data through the REST API or MCP server

## Important Availability Notes

- Data is imported and processed from source systems; it is not fetched from every source in real
  time for every request.
- A field or section can be absent because the source has no record, the enterprise does not file
  that type of information, processing is pending, or publication is restricted.
- Financial data is available only when an annual account has been filed with and imported from
  the National Bank of Belgium. Not every Belgian enterprise files annual accounts.
- Financial health scores and ratios are derived indicators, not credit ratings or financial
  advice.
- Directors and managers come from the latest annual account filed with the National Bank of
  Belgium. Company profiles, the REST company endpoint and the MCP `fetch` tool list them;
  censored companies list none.

can contain legal and commercial names, VAT number, juridical form, status, start date, address,
contacts, NACEBEL activities, annual accounts, financial ratios, official publications, PEPPOL
details, source-document links, a generated summary, and nearby or similar companies.
