# Bertha AI is no more
Due to rapid innovation across the AI landscape, we have made the difficult decision to close Bertha AI to all users, effective immediately.
All licenses have now been rescinded - including The Chrome Extension.
To our current 13 paying customers: we will be reaching out to each of you personally in the coming days to arrange a pro rata refund for the remainder of your subscription.
This has not been an easy decision, and we truly appreciate the loyalty you have shown us.
To all 15,000 of our free users and 13 paid users, we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being part of such a wild ride over the past five years.
