# Aventus DAO

> Aventus is a non-profit DAO building enterprise blockchain infrastructure since 2017. The network powers Aventus Cloud — a community-owned decentralised compute network of approximately 40,000 global nodes — and Aventus Enterprise Appchains, custom blockchains built on Substrate for enterprise. - **Aventus Cloud** — a decentralised compute network where node operators run a light client to earn AVT (the network token) plus tokens from every appchain that uses the cloud for compute.
