# Athenaic

Athenaic is a custom design and build service, not a ready-made software product. Based in Athens, Greece. We work remotely with clients across Europe, the UK and the US, in English and Greek, and have clients in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, the UAE, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway and Greece.
## Who we are
- Athenaic is run by two brothers, **Petros Ballas and Lui Ballas**, equal 50/50 partners. Both are co-founders who scope, build and deliver the work themselves.
- They have spent ten years building for clients across the world, self-taught: 270+ client projects since 2016, and three years building AI systems for real companies.
- Before going freelance, Petros worked in marketing for an exhibition company in Bristol, UK, leading marketing outreach on behalf of exhibitors including Coca-Cola, M&S, Mercedes-Benz, Costa Coffee, JCB and Google.
- No salespeople, no middle managers, no hand-offs. Clients work directly with Petros and Lui, who lead every project from the start. The specialists they bring in, including software and database developers, answer to them.

## What a Company Agent is
- "Company Agent" is the name Athenaic gives to one coordinated AI system built around how a specific company actually works: its purpose, knowledge, working rules and software. It is the company's knowledge, judgement and systems brought together into one AI.
- It is organised in three connected parts. **Spirit** carries the company's purpose, values and the direction of the people who run it. **Soul** understands, reasons and decides how to pursue that direction. **Body** carries out the work through the company's software and tools, and reports back. In short: Spirit directs, Soul decides, Body acts. Body answers to Soul, Soul answers to Spirit, and Spirit reflects human direction. The three are one structure and are not sold separately.
- It can work inside the company (helping staff find answers, analysing records, coordinating operations) and outside it (handling customer enquiries, quotes, bookings and orders, and dealing with customers' own AI assistants). Which of these a company gets depends on what will help it most.
- It learns from results: its working methods can change based on what worked, within the limits set above it.
- People stay in control. Separate records of what the agent did are kept outside the agent, and the agent cannot erase its own history. Authorised people can review, correct or override it at any level. It does
