## What this site is good for

- Account and access problems: sign-in, phone or identity verification, "not available in your region", billing-address and card errors.
- Quotas and limits: how much a plan or free tier allows, when a quota resets, what a 429 / 529 / "too many requests" response means and what to do.
- Plan and model choice: Go vs Plus vs Pro, Pro vs Max, which model ID to call, and where the paid cutoff of a free tier sits.
- Error messages quoted verbatim in titles, with the fix that applies to each cause.

Prices, quotas and model names in every article come from the providers' official pages, and each figure links to the page it came from with the date it was checked. For the exact current price, the provider's page is the source of record; this site explains and compares.

## What this site does not do

- It does not run an API service and does not resell any provider's accounts.
- It does not recommend proxy-recharge, proxy-upgrade, pooled or shared subscription services, and does not explain how to get around a provider's regional or usage policies.
- It does not invent tests or data: third-party benchmarks are credited with their source and settings; cost calculations show the formula and inputs.

## Updates and corrections

- Every article shows its publication date and last update. When a provider changes a price, renames or retires a model, or moves a limit, the affected articles are revised; a dated notice inside an article means that section was re-checked on that day.
- Pages that no longer answer a live question are merged or removed and the old URL redirects (301) to the page that does.
- Written by the AI Free API Team. Errors and questions can be sent to hi@laozhang.ai (also shown at the end of every article); corrections that change a conclusion are noted in the article with a date.
