Hurricane automates repetitive AutoCAD tasks: batch plot to printer or PDF, batch edit drawings, purge/audit, DWG batch rename, Night Run for scheduled processing, and more. Built-in wizards guide non-scripters step by step: Title-Block Update Wizard, Purge Wizard, Search and Replace Text Wizard, PageSetup Wizard. Command Capture records live AutoCAD commands to build scripts without writing code. Dynamic TAGS insert data-driven values into scripts automatically. Setup is quick: as of version 8.2 a one-click "Auto" button auto-detects your installed AutoCAD (acad.exe) so you never have to locate the program file by hand, and the interface is modernized with Windows-themed controls and tooltips.

**AutoCAD LT note:** Hurricane works with AutoCAD LT. Batch plot, purge/audit, and DWG file rename work in every LT version. Title block attribute updates and search/replace text use AutoLISP, so they need full AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT 2024 and later; on older LT versions, Hurricane switches those features off. The limit comes from the AutoCAD version, not from Hurricane.
