# SlimStat Analytics

> A self-hosted WordPress analytics plugin. Every visit is stored in your own WordPress database and reported inside wp-admin, with no data sent to a third party. Free core plugin on wordpress.org, optional Pro add-on.

The free plugin tracks pageviews, visitors, sessions, referrers, search terms, browsers, devices, screen resolutions and geolocation, and shows them in real-time reports in the WordPress admin. Tracking can run in Client mode (JavaScript, works with caching plugins) or Server mode (PHP, records every visit); the tracking request method can be set to REST API, Admin-AJAX or Ad-Blocker Bypass. Consent handling supports SlimStat's own banner or the WordPress Consent API for CMPs such as Complianz and CookieYes. Server-side tracking, Ad-Blocker Bypass, geolocation, shortcodes and the developer filter/action API are all part of the free plugin, not the paid tier.

SlimStat Pro is a separate add-on installed alongside the free plugin. It adds the full Real-Time report and admin-bar widget, scheduled email reports, goals and conversion funnels, click heatmaps, CSV/Excel export, the Pro-only User Overview report, an external database option, Advanced Whois IP lookup, and network-wide analytics for WordPress Multisite.

Pro list pricing, per year, including one year of updates and support: 39 USD for 1 site, 99 USD for 5 sites, 199 USD for unlimited sites. Licences are sold and renewed at my.wp-slimstat.com, which is the source of truth for the amount charged; promotional pricing runs from time to time and is shown on the pricing page rather than here.
