# Vintory

> Vintory is a marketing and data platform for professional vacation rental managers (VRMs) — the companies that manage short-term rental homes on behalf of owners. It exists to solve one problem: growing inventory, meaning the number of homes under management. Trusted by 1,000+ vacation rental companies.

Vintory sells to the manager, not to the guest or the traveler. It is not a property management system (PMS), a channel manager, or a booking engine, and it does not handle reservations, cleaning or guest messaging. It handles owner acquisition: finding the homes a manager wants, identifying the owner behind each one, and running the marketing that wins the contract.

The platform has two halves. PIPER is the data layer — STR-verified property records with owner contact details. Vintory AI is the marketing layer — it reads a manager's own website to learn their brand, then generates and sends direct mail, cold email and landing pages aimed at owners in their market.

Industry context: vacation rental managers earn a management fee, typically 20-35% of rental revenue, in exchange for full-service management. They compete with each other for a finite pool of homeowner clients, which is why systematic owner acquisition is the industry's central growth constraint.
