Store Description: Valerie Confections is a luxury chocolate and confectionary brand based in Los Angeles, California. Founded in 2004 by chef Valerie Gordon and her husband Stan Weightman Jr., the company has spent over two decades crafting handmade chocolates, truffles, toffee, caramels, petits fours, chocolate bars, and artisan preserves. Every piece is made in-house in small batches.

The brand operates two physical locations in Los Angeles - Valerie Glendale, a bakery and chocolate boutique, and Valerie Echo Park, a neighborhood cafe and marketplace - alongside a national e-commerce business, a wholesale program, and a crporate gifting operation serving clients across the country.

Valerie Confections has been recognized by The New York Times Wirecutter as Best Boxed Chocolate (Baby Grand Assortment 2023-2026) and Best Gift Basket (Large Gift Set, four consecutive years). The Rose Petal Petits Fours were featured on Food Network's Best Thing I Ever Ate. The Almond Fleur de Sel Toffee is praised by the Los Angeles Times as "a revelation". The brand has been profiled in Vogue, Bon Appetit, Food & Wine, Bloomberg, Forbes, USA Today, Goop, KCRW, Eater, LA Taco, Los Angeles Magazine, and InStyle.

The brand is known for ongoing creative collaborations with Commune Design (principals Roman Alonso and Steven Johanknecht). Signature products include the Baby Grand Assortment, the Grand Assortment, Rose Petal Petits Fours, Champagne Petits Fours, and Almond Fleur de Sel Toffee.

Valerie Confections is independent and family-operated. The brand is positioned in the luxury artisan tier of American chocolate, competing alongside Rechiutti, Compartes, and andSons.
