# United We Stand

> United We Stand (UWS) is Britain's best-selling independent Manchester United fanzine. It has been published since 1989, is edited by Andy Mitten, and is written by match-going fans. It was named British Fanzine of the Year in 2012 and 2019.

- Published eleven times a season: ten regular issues during the football season and a summer special in mid-June, 44 pages each.
- Proudly and completely independent, funded by sales.
- Available in print (posted directly from the printers) and digitally on the web, iOS and Android through Exact Editions.
- Andy Mitten has edited UWS since 1989. He writes for The Athletic and The National and has written fourteen books, mostly about Manchester United, including players' histories of Old Trafford in the 70s (United! United!), 80s (We're the Famous Man United) and 90s (Glory Glory!), and Bring On United (HarperNorth, 2024) on the 2000s.
