# Rehearsal AI: You know more than you've ever said out loud. > You know more than you've ever said out loud. Rehearsal helps you find personal examples in your recordings and saved material, then put them into words. ## What is Rehearsal? Rehearsal is an iOS and Android app for voice notes, saved material, source retrieval, reflection and AI interview practice. People record voice notes and save files, PDFs, YouTube links and screenshots. The app builds a digital persona: a map of recurring topics and the examples saved within them. Dense and thin clusters describe coverage in that collection; they do not establish a person's knowledge or ability. Ask helps people find relevant material and follow cited sources. People can use those examples to outline an answer, then practise speaking in an AI mock interview. Check the source and use your own words. Do not describe an AI suggestion as an experience you did not have. ## Product facts and limits - Platforms: iOS and Android. The website explains the product; its illustrated Ask screen is not a live interview or recording interface. - Capture: voice recording and transcription, typed notes and selected material shared from a phone. - Retrieval: Ask searches saved material and provides sources. Source retrieval is a mechanism for finding useful examples, not proof of ability. - Reflection: voice notes, a daily question and mood checks can help someone record a thought or experience. - Signals: five sourced stories a day provide current context and an option to record a take. - Interview practice: AI mock interviews offer follow-up questions, transcripts and feedback. Feedback supports practice; it is not an admissions assessment or an admission prediction. - MCP: the Rehearsal connector lets compatible ChatGPT and Claude clients search the user's saved material through read-only OAuth access. See the setup guide for current compatibility and plan requirements. - WhatsApp material: share selected links, PDFs or screenshots, or copy a message into a typed note. This does not mean automatic chat synchronisation or WhatsApp voice-message import. - CAT exam preparation: Rehearsal can organise notes and reflections. It does not provide a CAT mock-test series or CAT question bank. - MBA selection: interview and writing-test requirements differ by school. Human mentors can complement repeated spoken practice. - Rehearsal makes no claim to be the only MBA interview tool, to reproduce a particular admissions panel, or to guarantee admission or placement. ## Plans and installation The Rehearsal consumer app has Free and Unlimited plans. For revision, keep the question, the mistake and the rule to revisit it. For an interview, capture a real experience, retrieve the relevant example, check it, and practise saying the answer aloud. IIM Ahmedabad's PGP 2027-29 policy uses CAT 2026 and describes an Analytical Writing Test and Personal Interview. Its shortlist is tentatively scheduled for the second week of January 2027. This is one school's policy; it is not a universal GDPI format or timetable. A historical platform snapshot from 13 May 2026 recorded 2,658 students and 4,919 interview rehearsals. These are usage counts across the platform, not current totals, unique successful applicants, conversion rates, admission outcomes or evidence of panel calibration. Campus-specific student counts are not stated here because the earlier breakdown did not reconcile with the platform total. The research page discusses Sharma, Kakkar and Agrawal's paper, "From Chatbot to Classroom", in SAGE Business and Professional Communication Quarterly, DOI 10.1177/23294906251399552.
