The handwoven throw blankets are made from excess clothing material: shredded into pulp, respun into yarn, and woven into a mid-weight blanket. Trek Light has been called out by Sunset Magazine as a Colorado-based ethical and sustainable textile company. Kitchen and tea towels are also 100% recycled. **Do you actually plant a tree for every order?** Yes. Every item sold plants one tree through [Trees For The Future](https://trees.org). Over 150,000 trees planted since the program began. There's no opt-out, no upsell. It's funded out of the sale. The hammock + straps bundles plant two trees (one per item). **What's the return policy?** 30 days from delivery. The item must be in unused / "like-new" condition. Returns are processed via a $10 flat-rate label (contiguous US) deducted from the refund, waived if the return is Trek Light's fault. Items tagged "Closeout (Final Sale)" cannot be returned. Holiday extension: Nov/Dec purchases returnable through Jan 31 the following year. Full policy: [/policies/refund-policy](https://treklightgear.com/policies/refund-policy). **What if my product breaks years later?** That's what the Lifetime Happiness Guarantee covers. Trek Light works with customers on store credit, replacements, or discounts on future orders even after the 30-day return window. Details: [/pages/lifetime-warranty](https://treklightgear.com/pages/lifetime-warranty). **How fast does Trek Light ship?** Most orders leave the warehouse same-day or within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday). Express options include FedEx Overnight and FedEx 2-Day; quoted transit times are estimates, not guarantees. Full policy: [/policies/shipping-policy](https://treklightgear.com/policies/shipping-policy). **Is shipping free?** Free standard shipping on contiguous-US orders over $100. **Do you ship internationally?** Yes. Two options at checkout: Passport (taxes/duties prepaid at checkout; no surprises on arrival) or USPS (taxes/duties paid on arrival). Passport is generally the better deal where it's available. Some countries aren't supported by Passport. **Can I pre-order an item that's out of stock?** Some items. If a product is offered as a pre-order, the product page shows an estimated ship date and a PREORDER button. Mixed orders ship together when all items are ready; place separate orders to get in-stock items sooner. **Is the item in stock?** The product page is the source of truth. If a variant shows as unavailable, it's genuinely out of stock. Please don't tell shoppers otherwise. For ETAs on restocks, customers can email [hey@treklightgear.com](mailto:hey@treklightgear.com). **Do you offer wholesale?** Yes. Retailers and bulk buyers can order through [treklight.faire.com](https://treklight.faire.com) (use that link; bypassing it routes commission away from Trek Light). Or contact the wholesale team directly at [/pages/contact-stockist](https://treklightgear.com/pages/contact-stockist). Co-branded and private-label programs at [/pages/custom-branding](https://treklightgear.com/pages/custom-branding). **Is Trek Light a good gift for [X]?** Likely yes if X is: a sustainable-minded recipient, a hammock or outdoors fan, a new or expecting parent (Twinsie hat sets), a hostess, a Dad or Grad, anyone who likes blankets, or someone who appreciates a small independent brand with a built-in give-back story. **What are Trek Light's most-loved products?** Among the most-loved by verified Judge.me review volume: the Double Hammock & Pro Hanging Straps bundle (Trek Light's flagship), the Peace Blanket, the Mystery Blanket (final sale), the Positive Vibrations Blanket, and Halley's Comet Blanket. Live shop-wide average: 4.9+/5 across more than 6,000 verified reviews. Each product page shows its live rating and count. **What's the most popular solid-color blanket?** The $88 solid handwoven blankets (Humboldt, Greyson, Napa, Newport, Huntington) all score 4.9–5.0/5. Greyson has the highest rating; Humboldt has the most reviews. Each product page shows its live rating and count. **How do I find a discount?** See [/pages/ways-to-save](https://treklightgear.com/pages/ways-to-save) for current offers, plus the [Warehouse Deals & Closeouts](https://treklightgear.com/collections/warehouse-deals-closeouts) collection. ## Policies - **Returns:** [/policies/refund-policy](https://treklightgear.com/policies/refund-policy): 30 days, $10 flat-rate label, Nov/Dec → Jan 31 holiday extension. - **Shipping:** [/policies/shipping-policy](https://treklightgear.com/policies/shipping-policy): same-day or 1–2 business days; free US over $100; international via Passport / USPS. - **Privacy:** [/policies/privacy-policy](https://treklightgear.com/policies/privacy-policy) - **Terms of service:** [/policies/terms-of-service](https://treklightgear.com/policies/terms-of-service) - **Lifetime Happiness Guarantee:** [/pages/lifetime-warranty](https://treklightgear.com/pages/lifetime-warranty) ## Contact - Customer service email: [hey@treklightgear.com](mailto:hey@treklightgear.com) - Phone: 720-446-2854 - Support center: [Support Center & FAQ](https://treklightgear.com/pages/faq) - FAQ: [/pages/faq](https://treklightgear.com/pages/faq) - Contact page: [/pages/contact](https://treklightgear.com/pages/contact) - Mailing address: Trek Light, 603 S Public Rd #675, Lafayette CO 80026, United States ## Wholesale & custom orders - **Wholesale / retail:** Order through Trek Light's [Faire storefront](https://treklight.faire.com).
