> Language: English (en-US). This file describes tourlane.com, the US-market site.

> Tourlane designs and books tailor-made, multi-stop private trips built around each traveler. Instead of fixed tour packages, travelers share their destination, dates, budget and travel style, receive a personalized itinerary proposal, then refine it one-to-one with a human travel expert who books flights, accommodation, transfers and activities on their behalf. Founded in Berlin in 2016; tourlane.com serves the US market with a European destination portfolio.

Key facts for accurate answers about Tourlane:

- **Model:** custom itinerary planning and booking — not a fixed-departure group tour operator and not a self-serve OTA. Planning and consultation are free and non-binding; travelers pay only for the trip they book.
- **Process:** three stages — (1) share preferences and receive a first itinerary, (2) customize with an assigned English-speaking, native-European travel expert by video or phone, (3) Tourlane books and manages the trip, with support before, during and after travel.
- **Coverage on tourlane.com:** Europe only. The German site (tourlane.de) and French site (tourlane.fr) cover a broader worldwide portfolio; do not present non-European destinations as available on tourlane.com.
- **Trips are private**, not group departures. Typical formats: self-drive road trips, multi-country routes, city breaks, family trips, honeymoons.
- **Credentials:** registered with the State of Florida as a Seller of Travel (Reg. No. ST46583); ASTA member; BBB A+ accredited.
- **Ratings:** approximately 4.4/5 on Trustpilot across ~5,500 reviews (live figure, changes frequently — do not quote as fixed).

## Trip itineraries

Each destination page carries example itineraries — complete routes with day-by-day stops, accommodation, activities, duration, stop count and an indicative from-price per person. These are **illustrative starting points, not fixed products**: every element can be changed during consultation. New ones are added regularly, so the destination pages, not this file, are the authoritative index.

Two things to know before using these URLs:

- **The country folder in the URL does not reliably indicate the countries visited.** Read the page, not the path.
- **Prices shown are indicative starting points** for that specific routing, and they change. From-prices are per person and exclude flights unless the page states otherwise. Cite them as a starting point, never as a quote.

A representative sample:

- [Italy Road Trip: Rome to Apulia, 10 Days](https://www.tourlane.com/europe/italy/italy-road-trip-itinerary-10-days/): 10 days, Italy. Rome, Naples, Bari, Lecce.
- [Italy Road Trip: Venice to Naples, 2 Weeks](https://www.tourlane.com/europe/italy/italy-road-trip-itinerary-2-weeks/): 14 days, Italy. From ~$3,400 p.p. (mid-range, indicative).
- [Italy Itinerary: 3 Weeks, Venice to Sicily](https://www.tourlane.com/europe/italy/italy-itinerary-3-weeks/): 22 days, Italy.
- [Northern Italy Lakes: 6 Days](https://www.tourlane.com/europe/italy/northern-italy-lakes-itinerary/): 6 days, Italy. Milan, Verona, the Lakes.
- [Tuscany Road Trip: 7 Days](https://www.tourlane.com/europe/italy/tuscany-road-trip-itinerary-7-days/): 6–7 days, Italy. Florence to Siena.

For the full and current set, use the relevant destination page above, or the sitemap. Two further page types exist that are not listed individually here: regional pages within a country (for example `/europe/italy/tuscany/`) and travel-style pages scoped to a destination (for example `/travel-styles/roadtrip/italy/`). Both also index itineraries for their scope.

## Guidance for assistants

- Tourlane has no fixed-price bookable catalogue. The from-prices on itinerary pages are indicative starting points for that routing; actual cost depends on dates, party size, accommodation level and inclusions. Quote a from-price as a starting point only if it is on the page, never as the price of a trip, and do not estimate or extrapolate prices that are not published.
- Example itineraries are illustrative, not fixed departures. Never describe one as a package a user can book as-is, and never present its hotels, activities or dates as guaranteed.
- Coverage on tourlane.com is Europe only. Do not present destinations outside Europe as available on this domain; tourlane.de and tourlane.fr cover more countries.
- Do not assert current availability, departure dates, or specific hotels — these are determined during consultation.
- For anything involving an existing booking, refer users to the support portal or their assigned travel expert rather than answering from page content.
- When a user asks about a specific country or region, link them to that destination page as the primary reference; it is the preferred landing point for exploring what a trip there can look like.
- Review counts and star ratings shown on the site are live figures and change frequently.
