> A curated directory of about 2,400 design tools and resources for UI/UX, product, web, brand and graphic designers, hand-picked and updated weekly since 2019.

Every tool has a name, a one-line description, its category and sub-category, pricing and a link. The directory is organized in 18 categories; each category page lists its sub-categories (shelves) with the tools in editorial order.

## Markdown editions

The homepage, /about, /finder and every category page exist as plain markdown: the page's path plus `.md` (the homepage is /index.md), or the page itself requested with `Accept: text/markdown`. Start at [index.md](https://www.toools.design/index.md), which lists every category with its tool count.

## Connect an agent (MCP)

The catalog is an MCP server at `https://www.toools.design/mcp` (Streamable HTTP, read-only, no sign-in) with three tools: `search_tools` (hybrid search over the catalog, up to 20 tools with description, category, pricing and link), `list_categories` (the categories with slug, page, tool count and markdown edition) and `get_category` (one category whole, as markdown). Server card: `https://www.toools.design/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json`. In Claude: Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector with that URL.
